Get your Christmas shopping off to a flying start with this overnight break to the hugely popular St Nicholas Christmas Fayre in the heart of historic York. The finest crafts, gifts, food, festive fun, musical entertainment, shops and stalls combine to make this a really memorable weekend.

Itinerary
Day One
Leaving the local area early this morning we travel to the lively city of Leeds. Here the main shopping area is compact and traffic-free, making it easy to get around. All the major high street names are here, as well as a host of interesting shops and trendy boutiques and the only Harvey Nichols outside London.
Day Two
This morning we head to historic York and its Christmas Fayre, which winds across the city from the Coppergate Centre, through the medieval Shambles, to Newgate Market.
Enjoy the festivities, soaking up the unique atmosphere, and perhaps buying some unusual and interesting Christmas presents, before we begin our journey home, arriving back in the local area in the mid to late evening.
