Warwick Castle always captures the imagination, but at Christmastime it is especially magnificent. Watch traditional decorations being made and hung in the Great Hall and State Rooms, and soak up the festive atmosphere at Worcester's Victorian Christmas Fayre.

Itinerary
Day One
Leaving the local area in the morning we travel to Warwick Castle. Here the festive programme offers a fascinating glimpse of Christmases past. See how those who called the Castle home thoughout history enjoyed the festive period. Watch as a Victorian family prepare for Christmas 1898, and visit the newly restored Mill and Engine House and discover why the Mill Manager had to miss his Christmas tipple.
With 60 landscaped acres of grounds to explore, and an extensive range of unique, themed Christmas gifts available in the Armoury Gift Shop, there's plenty to see before we head to your overnight hotel.
Day Two
After breakfast we'll head to Worcester to browse the shops and wonderful Christmas market, which is perfumed by the aromas of mulled wine and roasted chestnuts.
Visit the cathedral or the Royal Worcester Factory - a veritable paradise for china lovers - before we begin our journey home in the early to mid afternoon, arriving back in the local area by mid evening.
