Day 1 Travel to your hotel in Valkenburg.

Day 2 A day in Valkenburg to relax and visit the Christmas markets, including entrance to the Town Cave (Gemeentegrot), the oldest and largest underground Christmas market in Europe. The market is embellished with song and music, and as you wander through the grotto, you will be tempted by many of the seasonal attractions on sale at this spectacular underground bazaar. B,D

Day 3 Included excursion across the border to Aachen. The old city centre is home to one of the most spectacular cathedrals in Germany, the perfect setting for the festive Christmas market. B,D

Day 4 (4-day holiday) – Return to the U.K. B
(5-day holiday) – Enjoy a full-day included excursion to Cologne, with time to explore the selection of seasonal gifts on offer at the six Christmas markets B,D

Day 5 Return to the U.K. B

Accommodation

You will stay for three or four nights at either the popular 3-star Hotel Schaepkens van St. Fyt, or the 3-star Hotel de Boegarde which are located just outside of the centre of Valkenburg. Both hotels have a restaurant, bar and lift. All bedrooms have T.V. and telephone.
