See Blenheim Palace - magnificent home to the 11th Duke and Duchess of Marlborough and birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill - in all its Christmas glory. On this Christmas shopping break you'll also explore the stalls of the Living Crafts for Christmas show, which stands in the Palace courtyard, and visit Stratford-upon-Avon.

Itinerary
Day One
Leaving the local area in the morning we head to head to historic Stratford-upon-Avon. Discover its many Shakespearian associations - his Birthplace, his grave at Holy Trinity Church and, of course, The Royal Shakespeare Theatre - stroll along the river or get ahead with your Christmas shopping in the town's array of shops.
In the afternoon we'll continue to our hotel, arriving in plenty of time to freshen up and relax before dinner is served.
Day Two
Today we head to Blenheim Palace, which you can explore at your own pace. The magnificent State Rooms will have been specially decorated for the season, and you'll find an abundance of Christmas shopping opportunities in the Palace's unique shops, while the festive Living Crafts for Christmas show has around 90 stalls, selling quality crafts including jewellery, ceramics, homemade chocolates, and seasonal pies and chutneys!
If the weather is fine, the lovely formal gardens are also well worth exploring before we begin our journey home in the early to mid afternoon, arriving back in the local area by mid to late evening.
