Christmas Eve or New Year's Eve – Lucerne (included); Lake Cruise (optional). Explore the Old Town area and the lake shore. See the covered Chapel Bridge and join a motorboat for an optional cruise on the serene waters of Lake Lucerne. B,D
Christmas Day or New Year's Day – Jungfrau Region Railway and Grindelwald (included). Enjoy an unforgettable ride aboard the Jungfrau Region Railway, through snowy Alpine meadows and wonderful scenery to Kleine Scheidegg Mountain, returning to the Alpine resort of Grindelwald. Don’t forget your camera.  B,D
Boxing Day or Jan 2 –  Interlaken and Brienz (optional, included on Silver Service). Enjoy an optional horse and carriage ride this morning, before an afternoon excursion to the famous resort of Interlaken, where you have free time to enjoy spectacular views from the lakeshore before we visit Brienz, with a short visit to a woodcarver’s workshop. B,D
Dec 27 or Jan 3  – Head to Paris for an overnight stay. B
Dec 28 or Jan 4 – To Calais and return home. B

Accommodation

You will stay for four nights at the 3-star Hotel Krone situated in Giswil, in the picturesque heart of Switzerland. The hotel has an attractive bar, restaurant and a lift. The reception, restaurant, bar and some bedrooms are located in the main hotel, whilst the majority of the accommodation is in two separate buildings 40 metres away. All bedrooms have T.V. and telephone. Overnight stays in France are in city-style hotels.
