Scottish Hogmanay - Platinum

There are fewer livelier events than the renowned Scottish Hogmanay celebrations and we are delighted to offer you the opportunity to experience great Scottish hospitality in the capital city Edinburgh. Our holiday is centred at the Hilton Edinburgh Grosvenor Hotel, an elegant conversion of Edwardian townhouses ideally located just a short walk from Princes Street, in the heart of the city. Following a city tour you’ll have time to enjoy the many attractions Edinburgh has to offer including the fascinating Royal Yacht Britannia. Our hosts invite us to join their Grand Hogmanay Banquet where you’ll welcome the New Year in Hogmanay style with fine food and dancing. To unwind after the celebrations we have ensured a leisurely New Year’s Day as we take an excursion out into the Trossachs.

Day 1 Edinburgh
We begin with Titan’s VIP Home Departure Service™ to the north of England and transfer to executive coaching for the onward journey to Edinburgh and the centrally located Hilton Edinburgh Grosvenor Hotel. We join our hosts for a welcome drink this evening prior to dinner.

Day 2 Britannia
After a full Scottish breakfast we have arranged for an orientation tour of Edinburgh to help familiarise you with the sights and sounds of this beautiful city. Edinburgh, the capital of Scotland and the seat of the modern Assembly, is built on an extinct volcano. With Royal connections over the centuries and a wealth of attractions and experiences for visitors this city offers something for every taste and interest including serious shopping, gourmet cuisine, history and culture. This afternoon we have arranged an included visit to the Royal Yacht Britannia. Step on board the most famous ship in the world and discover the fascinating history of the vessel that served the Royal Family for forty years and travelled over one million miles. The remainder of the day is free before dinner is served tonight.

Day 3 New Year’s Eve • Edinburgh
Following another excellent full breakfast the choice is yours to either head for Princes Street and take advantage of the seasonal bargains on offer or alternatively, Edinburgh Castle is worth a visit. Over one thousand years of history sits on top of the famous volcanic rock that dominates the city. Feeling energetic, then maybe the Royal Mile is for you! One of the oldest streets in the city and lined with many interesting stops alongthe way, ‘the mile’ connects Edinburgh Castle to the Palace of Holyroodhouse. Founded originally as a monastery in 1128 it is now The Queen’s official residence in Scotland. Tonight’s festivities begins with canapés and champagne followed by a traditional Hogmanay Banquet with entertainment, including a Ceilidh Band.

Day 4 New Years Day • Trossachs
After a full breakfast we depart for an excursion into the Trossachs, an area of outstanding natural beauty and spectacular views, in the heart of Rob Roy Country. We visit the Trossachs Woollen Mill before we return to our hotel, with time to relax before dinner is served.

Day 5 Edinburgh
Our final breakfast awaits before we check out and embark on the return journey coach to the north of England, where a Titan driver will meet and transfer you to your own front door.
